The Village Chiropractic & Family Wellness ("The Village Chiropractic," "we," "us," or "our") is a family chiropractic practice in Reno, Nevada, led by Dr. Kaitlyn Shikada, DC. The Village Chiropractic & Family Wellness is the business name of Kaitlyn Sae Shikada, a sole proprietor.

Online booking through Jane. Our website links to Jane (thevillagechiropractic.janeapp.com), a third-party scheduling platform, for online booking. When you book through Jane, the information you enter there is collected and handled by Jane under Jane's own privacy policy and terms. We encourage you to review them.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

Text messaging

If you check a text message consent box on our website, you agree to receive text messages from The Village Chiropractic & Family Wellness at the phone number you provided. Our first box covers non-marketing messages about bookings, such as appointment requests and reminders, scheduling, and care follow-ups. Our second, separate box covers marketing messages, such as occasional updates, wellness tips, and offers. You only receive marketing texts if you check that second box.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or reply HELP for help. Giving your consent to receive texts is never a condition of receiving care or making a purchase.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only as needed to run our practice and our website, including with:

• Service providers who help us host our website, manage contact and appointment requests (our customer relationship management, or CRM, platform), and deliver text messages and emails, including the messaging providers and carriers that help deliver messages.
• Our scheduling platform, Jane, when you choose to book online.
• Analytics providers that help us understand how our website is used, if we use them.

These providers may use your information only to provide services to us.

We may also share information when required by law, to respond to legal process, to protect the rights, safety, or property of our patients, our practice, or others, or in connection with a sale or transfer of our practice.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Opting out

You are always in control of how we contact you.

• Text messages: Reply STOP to any text message from us to opt out. You will receive one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. Reply HELP for help.
• Emails: Click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email from us.

How long we keep information

We keep the information you send through our website only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, such as responding to you, scheduling your care, and keeping a record of your text message consent, or as long as the law requires.
